A Bread Baker with a Vision
Daniel Des Rosiers has always loved making bread. He loved it so much, in fact, he made it his full-time job! Motivated and passionate, he taught himself the basics before embarking on a journey that would eventually lead him to opening Boulangerie Des Rosiers.
Trying out different long-practiced techniques and ancient grains, he developed a mastery for traditional bread-making unlike any other in the area.
An Ancient Grains Bakery like No Other
Rich with history, our breads stand out from the norm. We use a carefully selected variety of ancient grains, like Einkorn, Emmer and Touzelle, that are not yet commercially available on the market. This is because we develop the grains ourselves with the help of Quebec farmers!
This allows us to produce traditional breads like those families would’ve eaten hundreds of years before. Lower in gluten, they are much easier to digest and enjoy. It’s a culinary experience you must have!
